Vote at home saves our democracy and saves lives

Voters in three states, Arizona, Florida and Illinois, went to the polls Tuesday to vote in primary elections. Two other states, Georgia and Louisiana, delayed their elections and Ohio’s governor barred Tuesday’s election from going forward. In the midst of a growing COVID-19 outbreak, how do we exercise our right to vote while keeping voters, poll workers, and the rest of us safe? We vote from home.

As We Grieve, We Must Demand Action

Stores. Schools. Movie theaters, Concerts. Clubs. Everyday places turned into scenes of death and tragedy. We are facing a twin crisis: mass shootings and a frightening resurrgence in white supremacist violence.  Just this year, there have been 255 mass shootings in the U.S. Deadly hate crimes rose for the fourth year in a row. As we grieve, we demand action.
